He's definitely had the best written Bond IMO. The "smooth" Bond is kind of an inherent contradiction for someone who's a field operative...I always thought the gadget and finesse-driven Bonds (ala Brosnan) were corny in terms of believability working in the field.

That said, I think if you swap in Brosnan for Craig w/ Brosnan matching Craig's physicality, you do get someone who could rival Connery.

Craig deserves credit for bringing the physicality and being a good enough actor to bring depth to Bond, but I think Brosnan could have too. Brosnan's movies were trash though. Craig has a certified Bond classic (Casino Royale) and Skyfall is also good to me whereas I don't think any of Brosnan's movies were actually good.

I grew up with Brosman and owned a N64. You so you know my set. Daniel Craig did his thing so far. I’ve haven’t seen the latest two but I like all the films he was in.

I remember my mom didn't like when he was cast as Bond because he was blonde, but after she saw Casino Royale she said he was the meanest Bond ever (and became a fan). He's certainly the meanest Bond, perhaps the most violent and rough. Haven't seen the new one yet tho.

Wonder where they'll go next. More rough shyt, with another soft reboot?

Norfeast groovin…
nikkaz only picking Brosnan because of Goldeneye on N64 which is of course one of the GOAT games ever. But Pierce’s movies were mostly ass, not to say he isn’t a good actor but he just had bad luck with the movies he got.

Craig was a hard left in terms of Bond archetype but I actually find his rendition very refreshing. Smooth Bond is a bit cliche to me at this point. Craig’s character comes off a bit more realistic.

:ohhh: ironically it's about B.Frank as well and his exploits :sas2:

We didn't use to have a zero year so it's truly 117 or 711:sas1:

But the Jason Bourn roll out I feel which is a play on the name and series JB.. brought a more modern, realistic, practical feel to that genre.
