nikkaz only picking Brosnan because of Goldeneye on N64 which is of course one of the GOAT games ever. But Pierce’s movies were mostly ass, not to say he isn’t a good actor but he just had bad luck with the movies he got.

Craig was a hard left in terms of Bond archetype but I actually find his rendition very refreshing. Smooth Bond is a bit cliche to me at this point. Craig’s character comes off a bit more realistic.

You see it, I dare these fools to try and make a case for trash like Die Another Day :mjlol:

Connery will always be James Bond. Everyone after him has been a pretender. The closest to his rendition, in terms of swag and charisma, is Timothy Dalton’s version.

Btw, I’ve never seen a single Craig movie.

Connery is the best Hollywood type Bond, Dalton IS the Bond Ian Fleming wrote about

Why? Can’t Black people come up with a new and better spy movie franchise? We’d be up in arms if they recast Blade as a white man so why we gotta cast Bond as a Black man? I’d rather we make up our own shyt that’s better and much more culturally in tune and relevant to us.

Yep, I don't get the clamour for a black Bond if it happens :manny: but I want to see original black characters on screen

I was a Junior in HS when that movie came out and I remember so many of my friends telling me to go see DAD, so I did over a holiday break, and outside the fencing scene, I literally had the :unimpressed: look during the whole course of the movie. I walked back into school and asking, "Were you all playing a practical joke on me, because that movie was trash." They legit liked it though. It's a pity that Brosnan's Bond peaked with his first outing, because his Bond could've been so much more. I will say that Jonathan Pryce's villain from Tomorrow Never Dies is pretty timely and relevant today though.

Casino Royale was the best bond in a LONG TIME and I think it was better than any of Pierce Brosnan's movies

But after CR...shyt kinda went downhill where they tried too hard to modernize the shyt

It's a fictional story about a fictional character who openly tells people his name and yet continues to always be involved in the most seedy underbelly parts of the world

No one talks? No one who does dirt on the scale that he constantly deals with gives a heads up like "Yo this cat Bond...works with M16...that motherfukker is the opps!"

Craig had the better movies but Brosnan is always going to be my dude for Bond. He got me into the series with Goldeneye, then the video game dropped, and 20 years later I owned both Bond bmw cars and the Walter ppk gun from the 90’s films.

I used to think Pierce Brosnan as I grew up with his Bond films. But looking back on them, that dude is trash. Those films had terrible acting. Will always have a place for goldeneye tho

Sean Connery's bond films are some of the best, especially with the funny dialogue and innuendo and adding the unintentional comedy. Plus he was ruthless on them girls. That one scene where he gets stuck in the back stretching machine and the villian cranks it up. Upon threatening to tell the nurse's supervisor after she finds him, he coerced her to have sex. Scene ends with the palm prints on the glass in the next room
:jawalrus:

But the Craig series of course has the best production and pretty well developed stories. They've pushed the whole Bond series instead of recycling the old Cold War tropes
