Is Dead Space A Psychologically Traumatizing Experience?

I feel like i been through PTSD playing this fukkin game. The music is fukking grating and intense, the enemies are running fast as shyt. The camera make me lose sight of fukk nikkas that im trying to blast. When i know im about to fight 10 necromorphs i find the nearest corner with no vents and merk. After i play i make sure i watch happy stuff so i dont have necromorphs in my dreams. After i beat dead space 2 i felt like id been through a war. Im not even half way through part 3 and this shyt is already UGH status. I feel sorry for the cacs that had to sit and play this shyt all day every day for years on end. Give that man a raise.

I've had this game for 4 yrs and just couldn't finish. Just pretended I don't have it. And I always played at night, too.

It took me several months to beat the first game. I had to pay it when it was broad day light, and shyt still got me shook of dark hallways.

After playing Outlast i think ill finally be able to conquer this demonic game

i been playing most the evening with the headphones on. I had to turn the music down because everytime some shyt would pop out the music was like
DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGG DUUU DUU DUUUUUUUU DU DU DUUUUUUUUU

With those disgusting things making all those silly ass disgusting sounds. The jumps are probably the worst part. If it wasnt for my training in Battlefield 4 this game would probably be a lot harder. Im way to accurate for these necromorphs but the game is so fukking long, that dont mean shyt, because the experience in itself will break you down.

The outerspace visuals are impressive though. You gotta think about this game real clinical because technically these shyts aint monsters, just some alien technology that drives people to turn into blood thirsty monsters with super human strength.

Dead Space was not that scary

I cant say its scary i just think all the gore, combined with the jump scares and required twitch reflexes to monsters that are SPRINTING at you with a hoard of other monsters is taxing on the brain. Outlast and silent hill are slow games.

Played 1 & 2 and they BOTH made me Jumpy. Proceeding With Caution became a Joke after the 1st couple of Waves of Monsters.
