They streamlined one of the best horror games of all time into army of two with micro transactions.

It fukking sucked and deaded the franchise.
Did you beat this game? Because you have no idea what you're talking about. It was really no different from dead space 2 from a single player standpoint. Yes there was a coop OPTION and im not mad at it but from a single player perspective what really separates this from dead space 2 in terms of the campaign?

Dead space 2 was a huge step down from dead space 1. Dead space 3 was garbage.

They tried to streamline a niche genre game into a game that would appeal to dude bro shooter fans and appealled to nobody.

:mjlol: Dead Space 2 is regarded as the pinnacle of the series.

I get it. Resident Evil 1 stan. You want isaac running around defending himself from super human necromorphs with a protractor.

Stop it bruh. 3 was fire and up there with 2. 1 is my least favorite to be honest because its just not as epic as 2 and 3

You're old and you're a retro gamer. Dead Space 1 was a good beginning and 2 brought it to an incredible height with its set pieces and various necromorph scenarios. 3 was more of the same but more like dead space 1 on steroids because it took away the set pieces and made it a pure sci fi horror on various space stations, ships and planetary bases.

YOu didnt even beat 3 and you may not have even played it so im kinda stunned you'd even have an opinion at all.

You call dead space traumatizing while saying the 1st was the worst one :russ:

2 and 3 were not even remotely scary. They turned the series into action games.

If you like action games cool, but aint nothing scary about 2 or 3.

I think the first Dead Space was definetly up there as the most stressful game I've ever played....just the dead ship atmosphere was done extremely well, combined with the crazy ass enemies. shyt had u sweating going from room to room. Still enjoyed 2 and 3 but they lost some of the scary factor since you were already used to the enemies and they were more action oriented.

They are all good games but 1 is the worst in the series to me. You were already used to the monsters by the time you got to 2 and 3. And you didnt even play 3. Im saying that the overall psychological experience is traumatizing not so much the game being like ouuu im so scared. The gore, the jumps and the violence add up to trauma in my opinion. You didnt play in headphones i can tell.

So you agree 3 is the worst.

Gaming in anything other than headphones is uncivilized.

Once you know the formula shyt aint scary no more :smugdraper:
Yea, but the violence is still unsettling with the headphones on. Its just a depressing experience, which is why its truamatizing. Soldiers that go into missions to slaughter entire villages are still traumatized by the experience.
