Dude used to be one of my favourite players but he hasn't cracked 100 yards in a game this year, and he hasn't cracked 1000 yards in a season in the past 3 years. Breh is 29 years old. Is he even an elite receiver anymore?

Nope, hes not elite at this point, but it's obviously not all on him. Romo consistently threw him contested balls an let him go up and make the catch, whereas Dak has to rely on him being schemed open. Even though Dez has never been a great route runner, he excels at using his body to make catches, and I think a change of scenery would go a long way towards reestablishing himself as a premier WR in the league

I think he needs to be in slot like a Larry Fitz be

That means he would need to stop dropping and making difficult catches too

Yes, he's 7 years in the league and his last 3 seasons have been duds.

He has 3 years left out of a 10 year career max to live up to an elite standard, and with Dak as the future QB, and knowing that they just do not have that chemistry, I don't see him doing anything great late into his career.

IMO dude is done.

I highly doubt he gets back to an 80+ rec/1000 yrd season anytime soon.

This

Dez still has the physical talent of a #1 WR in my opinion. I’d like to see him in an offense with an aggressive “gunslinger” type QB

WRs can play for a long time. Even Andre Rison was in the L forever. He can be a number 2/3 somewhere else where the QB has an arm.

I wouldn't say a long time...sure the elite, top conditioned can.

The ones who have played at en elite level beyond 10 years tend to be some of the GOATS even before then.

Dez's numbers fell off beginning 3 years ago. There's no momentum or reason to believe that he'll pick it up in the remaining of his peak years.

It's not impossible, it just probably won't happen.

I agree, he can be a solid 2/3somewhere else, but I don't see Jerry letting him go while his engine is still running.
