1. YOU don't think it's trash so you're already infusing your own bias into facts.
2. The album has not SOLD 4x platinum it's STREAMED 4x platinum, a format that can be manipulated and we don't know if these GLOBAL streaming mediums like Apple Music are strictly reporting American IP addresses to the RIAA or using their GLOBAL numbers. I have a problem with this for ALL artists, not just Drake. Not to mention for the past 2 releases Drake has taken advantage of the 10 songs streamed from an an album = 1 unit to basically released 2 double albums of 20 and 22 songs.
3 & 4. The consumption of music and modern day rules allow Billboard records to be broken daily and for an artist of Drake's popularity I'd imagine most or all of any album would land on there. Billboard rewards popularity over quality so once again you're equating mass appeal to quality.
5. Yeezus was pretty well reviewed for "pushing boundaries" but many people don't like it. TPAB is one of the highest rated albums and many people believe it's supremely overrated. But I will concede that is probably the most sound argument you have, not this numbers shyt.
You keep equating numbers to quality, this is music not sports where stats are what we live and die by to determine how good an individual is in their field. I never used the word trash actually (likely someone else did), the premise is Drake "falling off", which means descending from whatever level of creative potency he was on or believed to be on. For a good deal of people, that creativity has waned. Between that and his music not being omnipresent like previous summers it is easy to see why a "slow fall off" looks possible. If YOU like the album then go ahead and like it. I know you're going hold on to stats anyway so go ahead and have the last word after this.
Just know that with your line of thought MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, and Eminem are top 3 of all-time

but go ahead and get your last words, or rather numbers, in.
