"Chose" is such a great way to put it because he literally did. He could have learned how to actually play basketball at MSU, deal with adversity, etc. Instead he did some dumb shyt. I'll shoot him some bail on his father and circle tho: they did him NO favors. At no point was he told "this isn't working, you're not as good as you think you are." Because his team including his father were focused on getting to the dollar signs ASAP. But they fukked that up by allowing him to remain a one dimensional player with low bball IQ. Like...he really doesn't understand basketball lol. Which is why the Durant comparisons were always weird to me because KD clearly understands the game on a high level, and has for a long time.
