I think about this shyt a lot actually, especially now that I saw that 48% of black women got herpes stat

I always strap up unless I’m in a serious relationship, but apparently you can catch the herp even with a condom

And I hear MOST people with herpes are asymptomatic and might not even realize they have it, and you can catch it from someone even without a flair up

But then I’ve also heard stories of couples where one has herpes and the other still manages to never get it so I dunno.

Worst case scenario, I pray to god if I ever catch it I get the asyptomatic one because having all kinds of puss and shyt on my groin would blow my whole life .

I will say this tho, based on the numbers and the supposed ease of catching it even when you’re wearing a condom, I think society in general should prob cool out on the herpes shaming. Cause statistically speaking, a gang of y’all already got it, or could easily be on your way to getting it if you’re really gettin around out here
