I posted this as well, but at a game years back, they were playing BIG, M.O.P., Smif N Wesson during breaks, and some hipster douche bag chick wearing a pigtailed quilted hat walked past me in the aisle in some nasally midwestern accent saying "I thought they were going to play more Jigaaaaaa!!!"

This is pretty spot on. The security at these games are over the top....cheering and being loud close to the premium seats is a one way pass out of the stadium/arena.
I'd say its the least strict at the football games. Knicks/Yanks forget it. They'll toss you for cursing.

My Coworker was telling me that they've pushed out 75% minorities out of Arlington and it was nothing like how it was 10 years ago.

You also have to look at how this team was put together. KG and Pierce don't have a history there and everyone else is hired guns. It would be one thing if they built the team through the draft and had a core of home grown talent but they don't. Brook Lopez is the only star player they drafted and he's always hurt. And they also don't have a superstar player. The Nets were so desperate to sell tickets and compete with the Knicks that they mortgaged their future for short term gains.
