No but his influence to the game should exceed his all time ranking. The euro step, crafty european style of play james harden and todays players use that's all manu right there.

plays the game with such grace :wow:

only thing I didn't like obviously is the flopping :francis:, but his offense is smooth :ohlawd:

You cant be serious. Manu Ginobli was ARGUABLY the best Shooting Guard in the league for a few seasons.

My opinion, yes.

It's overrating him to say he was the best shooting guard in the league, but underrating him to say he isn't a top SG all-time. It'd depend how you'd base your rankings. When it comes to talent, Ginobili would destroy some of the names mentioned before him.

Welcome to Manu's basketball familia

Could even let some of the premier defenders of that era tell it.

He started almost every game he played in 2005, including all seven against Detroit, and flummoxed the league's canniest wing defenders with his syncopated game and bottomless bag of tricks. "People always ask me who was hardest to guard," Raja Bell said. "I say Kobe. That is what people want to hear. But the truth is, it might have been Manu. He'd rev it to fourth gear, get by you, take it back to second gear so you'd run into him, and then he'd make a crazy floater. I made a living studying offensive players. I couldn't figure him out."

The No-Stats All-Star
Shane Battier's opinion:
The San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginóbili is a statistical freak: he has no imbalance whatsoever in his game — there is no one way to play him that is better than another. He is equally efficient both off the dribble and off the pass, going left and right and from any spot on the floor.

Even today, Ginobli is one of the craftier players you'll ever see.
I don't remember the last time I saw anyone make a game winning charge call:

Also highly underrated as a passer. Seriously his assist highlights are incredible.

Manu is Top 10-15 based on talent...because he is unguardable but not on what he actually accomplished on the court. I say it all the time, he's the Sheed of SGs. So, he's really an underachiever.

I'm also taking Mike Finley over him. Hell, he's lucky if I don't take H20, Spree, Michael Redd, Monta, Kev-Mart, Jimmy Jax over him. They've all had better primes/peaks. That's the crop he belongs with.
Chill breh you wilding :scust:
