Production-wise, it was untouchable. So much, that I didn't mind the lyrics at all. Still don't. That album was seriously Preme at his best.

the truth. they were terrible. sadly primo gave a lot of his best beats to the wrong people.
perfect example of how 90s nostalgia cloud any sense of reasoning or critical analysis. If it wasn't for Primo, NOBODY would be checking for those two bums and their struggle raps. Livin Proof & The Realness are classic songs but that's where my props for the album stops.
Nostalgia? You must be clueless this sentiment has been held by many since the album dropped its a classic then and now.
It was classic in 96? uhhh no, i'm old enough to remember the reception to it, and it was more props to primo than anything; the word classic was not floating around for this album.
