i seen about 5 lil girls looking like that today passing by vermont and 51st
24/7 combed, permed, straightened and every other thing apparently. it's like a parody at this point, everything can be framed as ADOS vs non-ADOS blacks. the black condition wherever you are is one of being made to feel less than for what's natural.

She's a cute little girl -- but I don't know ANY ADOS children whose hair be looking like that. One thing we DO DO is keep our children's hair combed.

If she's natural -- which most little girls are -- it's in braids, puff, straight, ponytail, etc.

What is going on? I need to know who her parents are.

Is this an American based campaign for H&M? Or International?

lol

this ain't "#ados vs the world" thing

that isnt a natural state that is a state of neglect.

People let cacs insult them with these underhanded images and wonder why our people have low self esteem. They can easily find dark skinned black models with giant afros that happen to be "unkempt."

In a thread about H&M #ADOS is brought up :koool:

Jumping the shark with the ethnic bait :koool:

Grow up.

ADOS for me means Black American. I am not trying to start any beef. It's a real ass question. If you are triggered over me asking if this is an American or International campaign -- seek help.

Cause, in media -- image and portrayal matters. H&M continues to try this with Black children -- and I want to know where the campaign is targeted, ran and produced out of.

And for Black people -- yes - all Black people/children image portrayals matter. But, I am concerned how Black children continue to be portrayed in the media -- especially, little girls. Our hair has been used as a tool to come at us. So, this matters.

And I brought up ADOS children -- cause natural hair is embraced and encouraged here -- so it's NO excuse for this child's hair to be unkept in an ad.

SEE. I KNEW this wasn't America.

I used to deal with this when I worked at Edelman and was on the Hanes and Nike account. I had to always be the only one to push back when they tried to do something like this at another firm -- but same account.

Canada and other international advertising and PR campaigns be TRYING it the most.

Nah. You just be looking to start shyt for no reason. I can't even mention ADOS without your panties being in a bunch. Therefore, I barely say shyt cause you regularly REACH -- when you don't need to - and are WRONG AF.

And LEARN the difference of HASHTAG ADOS --which can lead to "ethnic beef" .... and people just talking about ADOS. Hence, Black Americans/ADOS - ethnicity.
