This thread reminds me of school and how us young kids were treated by CACs about our hair.
I remember one girl was victimised almost daily because she had plaits down to her waist whilst the CACettes had their stringy rat hair the same length but nothing happened to them.

This is like the Gabby Douglas outrage all over again. Her moment was ruined by insecure people who didn't like her hair. Then she went on to deal with racism from her own teammates. I guess winning a gold medal means nothing if your community hates your hair smh.

Grease for what? The concept is "fresh out of a school day" what would grease do? Make it look less kinky? Less afro? Less straight?
