It depends. Where I'm at I haven't seen kids out trick or treating in a while. Even before covid. But a lot of people have been taking their kids to other towns to trick or treat. I do think it's more for adults now and partying. Even for kids, I'm sure they're going to more Halloween parties than out trick or treating. And now with covid forget about it. But I'm on a call for work and two people are saying how they were so busy with the kids and one guy ran out of candy. So I think it really depends on your location.

-Wasn't too many people out last night by my house. My son said he's probably gonna take the kids to the MOA next year. I told him it's probably this dead 'cause of covid.

White people too, alot of black folks i know already found it a slightly distasteful holiday to begin with. but with whites continuing over and over to dress up their kids in black face or other racist caricatures, people also are starting to feel like they are c00ning by joining these white people in the celebration. You supposed to dress up like super heroes or cute cartoon characters, but for some reason white folks think dressing up as Barack, or MJ (both ones) a native american or whoever is more fun. black face being offensive is normalized to the point of being common sense, so we all know they do this intentionally because they think halloween will allow them to get away with it,
-I've never heard a Black person say this shyt in real life. Nobody found anything distasteful or felt like a c00n & since white people around us never did this shyt (except maybe the Native shyt) nobody gave a fukk what they did. I only see this shyt on the internet so I always find it interesting.

I saw a lot of families doing trunk or treat instead. That's what I did for my lil one as well

In NYC, kids were still out & costumes going to the stores/bodegas getting candy. But the Halloween parade wasn't as big from what I could tell from being on the train. That could do with yesterday's wack weather though.

Definitely quiet this year and the amount of efforts in costumes were lacking.

A bunch of sexy squid game characters & school girls.

I legit forgot Halloween was coming up until around Saturday. Kids in my neighborhood don’t do trick or treating, and I don’t really do anything to celebrate it.
