I think Harden will be ok, this will be something that he can focus on with more intent.

Biggest urban myth ever. First of all Kobe had 20+ at halftime so this doesn't at all compare to harden's debacle. Secondly, the Lakers were in that series because everyone was involved. Kwame and Odom were exploiting the Suns size in the post and slowing down the pace while journeymen and role players hustled and made timely shots and Kobe played balanced and within the offense. We weren't up 3-1 because Kobe was jacking shots like he did in the regular season.
In the second half of Game 7, Kobe was passing to get the rest of the team shots and resuscitate the offensive balance that brought them success but they froze in the moment. His solo scoring in the first half didn't have the Lakers in position to win at that point he needed his teammates to get involved. It was damned if you do and damned if you don't so Kobe literally died for their sins that night. If Kobe went into the second half heisting then people like you would talk about how Kobe became a ball hog and didn't involve his teammates. Kobe's name is dragged in the dirt with these alternative facts to this day just because he took the fall for teammates that decided to not show up when they needed to.

It was a lose/lose situation, taking 50 shots would've done nothing AND everyone would've gave him the ballhog bullshyt like you're doing now with the quitting shyt. Kobe jacking shots would've been a loss just like passing the ball was. I personally would've preferred to see Kobe go out shooting but he relied on weak ass teammates that quit on him instead. Again, these situations aren't equal. Kobe had a subpar team playing out of its mind up until Game 7 against a superior team that was #2 seed while harden didn't show up at any point in Game 6 with Kawhi out with an injury. The Lakers even making it to 7 games is a testament to Kobe and Phil, meanwhile harden's teammates came to play and he didn't. So are you going to tell me that Kobe's teammates showed up in Game 7 and Kobe decided to quit on them?
