No you gotta mixed up...they meant he's This Generation's Magic 8-Ball.
He had 23 points in the first half on 8-13 shooting and they were still getting blown out. The criticism was that Kobe didn't pass enough and trust his teammates so he did that in the 2nd half to prove a point how garbage they were. Harden didn't even take a shot till midway 2nd quarter. How is that the same?

I wouldn't say Kobe quit, he was in a no win situation. The backlash would've been the same if he hogged the ball and took every shot. He left it in his teammates hands and they couldn't rise to the occasion. nikkaz wanted Kobe to get the team involved and they left him hanging.
