Is having a degree better than not having one?

My degree haven't helped me out that much either. To be honest, it helps white people a lot, but black folks it seems in IT they don't care about degrees, you have experience and references you would b better off than a degree IMHO.

to a degree you are right..but my degree definitely got me into the door in my current company since im in a management position
