My father and I haven't spoke in two weeks and we live in the same house. So, no it's not a bad thing.
If you're holding a grudge for years, you need to get over that shyt. A grudge is supposed to be something that quickly turns into "I couldn't care less about them." Just let it be that you don't fukk with that person. Wasting mental energy on someone to hold a grudge (which means more than the allotted time of anger) will give you cancer.
I have a grudge with someone that's lasted over 12 years, its on sight when I see him in person and don't care where im at when I do.

A real grudge is when you still love or want to be around someone but just can't fukk with them anymore to protect your pride.

This person tried to kill you or was involved with someone trying to kill you and you see this person frequently and do nothing?
Best friend for many years, dude flipped out about me taking a girl out he liked, Now mind you she had no interest in him and he is married and has kids.
I told him before it happened if you're gonna let some sucker shyt like this come between us, then he pulled that BS move and tried taking me out.
I haven't seen this person in 12 years, he moved fast after this shyt went down and I put his family member in ICU.
just saying when I do run into him in this area its on sight. No questions asked.
