Holding a grudge just means staying angry about something long after its over. You can cut somebody off and not forgive them for betraying you without holding a grudge

People know that we live in a "Universe" of interconnected structure, yet feel as if our very thoughts (vibrations, frequencies and what have you) are separate from the equation.

If you're feeling a certain way, you shouldn't instantly condemn yourself. It's more beneficial to question the experience. Holding a grudge is giving your emotional identity away to others. If you question and observe your own thoughts chances are you'll realize that you need certain "negative" experiences to expand consciousness.
