is Idris elba a better actor than Denzel?

i'm 34 years old, i've seen just about every Denzel Washington flick, even For Queen and Country

but I just saw Beasts of No Nation and damn

I don't think Denzel could pull this off, Idris effortlessly blends in with these people like it's nothing, you almost forget he is an A-list hollywood actor

with that said, i think idris could play alonzo in training day, not sure denzel (nor brad pitt) could play a convincing african warlord
