Is this dissociation tho?
100% dissociating or "unbothered". Ive been dissociating since I was 12 and nothing has ever kept me up at night. My nervous system is relaxed in any situation. Just trying to live long enough to find real happiness someday.

Humans experience a range of emotions, feeling happy is just one of them so no you really can’t be naturally happy all the time. The only control we have is to manage our emotions as best as we can.

I actually feel this too. But this is caused by trauma.

Well yes but we can't change anything thats happened in the past. I'd rather just dissociate and feel happy instead of end up looking like what I've been thru.

London baby.
No.

To live is to suffer and suffering is a blessing; it means you’re still alive enough to feel.

It’s common for one part of your life to sink when another part rises e.g. if your love life is golden your career suffers and vice versa due to the law of polarity.

You cannot gain one thing without losing another.

I’ve had a gay man say to me once, “why are you always so happy?” when I’m not, I just choose to focus on things I can control which leaves space for bliss.

“A happy life is just a string of happy moments. But most people don't allow the happy moment, because they’re so busy trying to get a happy life.”

People who say that.. are they liars?

Is there a such thing as a life free of difficulty or suffering in any form?

Are there really people out there who's lives are going great in all areas, relationsip, health, career, finances etc?
Yes. Sure it exists.

Nahhhh.

Some people that suffer a major setback will be affected very negatively for awhile.

The "always happy" people will be affected the same momentarily, but pivot it in the best light possible, to dampen the impact on their mood. They are still slightly less happy, disappointment is a very real emotion. And while having a positive outcome on as much of your life is the most healthiest way to live, they are lying if they say they stayed 100 percent on the happy meter through those times.

These the type of people that exit relationships like it's nothing, never give themselves time to reflect or grieve, then develop nasty traits that ruin them years down the line because of unpacked baggage.
