Huge loss...this nikka damn near 50 and been in the game 20+ years and he gotta report to the weird 4 foot gremlin? This nikka pathetic

Some of you dudes have a really skewed view on life.
20+ years of success in rap (which is a young man's game) is a tremendous accomplishment. How many people can you put in that category? It's funny that instead of comparing him to the thousands that have come and gone during his career, dudes say he's lesser than because he's associated with someone who is younger and currently more successful. Let's be real you n!ggas aren't hustlers or owners of any kind so stop it with the all these corny boss/employee analogies.

No matter what field you are in there's a 99.9999% chance that Busta's accomplishments in rapping are beyond your biggest ASPIRATIONS in whatever line of work you have chosen.

Same old 'you haven 't accomplished the same so you can't critisize' argument. By that logic I can't call Donald Trump a fakkit or say my favorite football player has a weak season .

Busta is a businessman in his own way. He is only concerned with himself. Busta is a very opportunistic dude & goes where the money is. He knows what works for him.

You can not compare someone in the entertainment field to the average 9-5 guy. It's like saying Pacino should stop acting & start running shyt.

I do realize it's on in the rap industry where it seems frowned upon to be in the game too long. It doesn't make any sense because as age, you prolly want to listen to someone a little closer in your age range.

I said what I said initially because I recognized that dissing Busta for being on Cash Money a foolish criticism right off the bat. Busta Rhymes isn't a mogul, never ran his own record label, etc. He's an artist. He's taking an L by being signed to the same team as Lil' Wayne? How?

I'll humor you with a sports analogy.

Ray Allen (who I'm not even a fan of) has had a hall or fame career but he wasn't much of an impact player in the 2011/2012. His Celtic team won a chip a few years ago but as of 2011/12 the Celts were clearly on the decline.
After his contract was up with the Celts he ended up signing a lucrative deal with the DEFENDING CHAMPION Miami Heat for the 2012/13 season and beyond. As of right now he's only the 5 or 6th most impactful player on their team, but he's going back to the NBA Finals again. Is that a loss for Ray Allen? Yes he's playing with Lebron & D. Wade. He will never be on their level. But so what? He has a chance to win another championship. In addition to that he's already in an elite class of athletes and when it's all said and done all 3 (Bron/Wade/Allen) will be placed in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Moral of the story? Play your position.

:rudy: that shyt is a blessing..how many other rappers been in the game THAT long and still are able to sign with a label as relevant as young money? and hell i know theres millions of up and coming rappers who would gladly take that spot if wayne came to them. shyt if he wanna sign me i'll take a job (long as the cash is decent lol). How would it ever be a loss?
