Drake and Kendrick are both great songwriters.
I enjoy GKMC but let's not act like Drake ain't put out tracks like Marvin's Room, The Fear, The Motion, Look What You've Done, and Club Paradise. Drake can write the hell out of some songs, and where Kendrick has that advantage in his song formats and his flows, I think Drake has an advantage in the emotion/honesty in the music. Sounds mad girly and shyt but it's true. All in all, Drake excels at traditional song-writing, whereas Kendrick has a slightly experimental style with it. Especially given how well he executed Sing About Me.
Cole is too but he's definitely struggling with his hooks. shyt like Nobody's Perfect and Power Trip show how much better his music can be with dope hooks. Cole tried that Lost One's joint and it was cool but lacked impact.
