is it fair to say Drake is this generations Jay Z, and Kendrick is Nas.

They're more alike than U think...neither are as bad on the mic as percieved but both make/made baby doo doo music...both are/were detriment to Hip Hop
Jay is more of a fair comparison. If you strip away all the extra particulars and get down to the bare bones - he's nice. Period. Same with Drake.

Drake is the best rap artist to come out since Jay-Z. fukk is wrong with you hating ass nikkas? He's the LeBron of this rap shyt and Wayne's his D. Wade. Weezy gave him the keys to this rap shyt and now they just tearing the rest of the league apart.

-He can rap with the Kendrick Lamar's of the game and still be able to dumb his shyt down for the clubs and make hits
-Can sing
-Females love him
-Great style
-He has Classic(s) (Quotables, Albums, Songs, etc.)
-A lot of nikkas can relate to the shyt he raps (Pre-So Far Gone at least) about and his come up

good points. jay is a better all rounder than nas. nas makes errors when he tries to go out his lane. i hope kendrick doesnt make that mistake. drake may be more versatile, but kendrick is more important and valuable doing what he do.

Kendrick makes hits too. Kendrick utilizes his voice in sung hooks too. Kendrick is on Drakes ass. He's just blacker and uglier. Don't think that light skinned shyt doesn't pay into Drakes campaign.

by the way, drakes second album, is horrible in hindsight. a lot of people were fooled by the initial impact, but listen to it now. its trash. doesnt hold up. its music for teenage girls on their period and who write in ther diary about boys that dont love them.
Kendrick and Drake together is like their favorite rapper Jay-z and Nas is still like Lupe came out with a classic the a good album and then no classic albums in 16 years just a lot of 4 mic albums. That were essentially mixed with some of the best songs in hiphop history and sleeping pills no one remembers. Even though his Stans tries to make it out like some of them were classics (mainly Stillmatic which leeches all its so called classic status of BP).
