I'm saying game made being a blood popular initially and then Wayne took it to the next level. Nobody gave a fukk about diplomats like that.

Dipset made the NYC Bloods popular and are pretty much responsible for it spreading up and down the East Coast.

Game and Wayne didn't really influence anything because Bloods was already poppin in most major cities west of the Mississippi River since the late 80s.

What no one is talking about how every rapper is a crip now, back in 2009-2012 almost every rapper was blood affiliated

Its funny because I said this way back in a convo irl and I remember saying "I bet crip rappers are going to be relevant soon" back in 2011

So Cal
Jim Jones and Dipset were doing that before Game's first album came out.
They were. But they weren't anywhere near as popular as people on here make them seem.

Where did Game inspire people to bang? It damn sure wasn't Cali. Wasn't the Midwest. Wasn't the east because they were already here when he was still dancing in the background of G Unit videos.

You don't know what you're talking about and must not be from the east coast.

Breh, I think you're misunderstanding what gangbanging actually is.

Y'all might have had a crews big enough to consider themselves gangs, along with other smaller crews and clicks, but there was no gangbangin on the streets of NYC from 91-96.

LA? Yes.

Chicago? Yes

But not in NYC.

If you're from there, and really grew up in the 90s, you know that's a fact.

Gangbangin is when you have gangs at war over territory and past history, killing each other over nothing more than the fact that you're from a rival gang.

It's not about money, drugs, none of that shyt.

It's war, pure and simple.

NYC did not have that dynamic in the early to mid 90s and you know that.

I'm dumbing.. :hubie:

Really? I feel like there are a lot more bloods now among the younger rappers.

I don't know the late 80s- the early 00's had actual gangsters for the majority rapping you just didn't hear about them and they wasn't so flagrant with it because record labels was having that for a minute.
