Above the fray.
Anymore?

Like 15 years ago or some change, if you weren't working, were at home doing nothing but chilling or doing stunting, showing off and etc without working for your shyt, folks were looking at folks like :usure:. Folks would shame folks for real. Folks would question folks on why they spend all day on the computer or their phone texting. That life of luxury shyt wasn't respected if you didn't work for it.

Flip fast how many years later and you got grown ass men and women bragging about doing the total opposite. All this talk about being in charge but the moment folks gotta work and deal with life, they are ready to talk about baby boomers and how the system is rigged. Yet they aren't doing shyt or doing something that makes no sense.:mjgrin: folks want something for nothing.
A few points

even if you worked at McDonald's or was cleaning toilets, folks respect that earn your keep shyt. What happened?

A few points

1.A dude out there doing what he has to do, doesn't care about credit, props or any of that stuff.

2. Fathers not being in the households the past few generations has altered views about personal accountability. Father is not going to coddle and baby you, and he's going to tell the mom to stop spoiling you. Without that masculine energy around, a lot of the things to be learned from that are never learned.
Dudes are unfamiliar with that discipline...so they gravitate towards that feminine energy that they are accustomed to.

3.People point the flamboyantly gay images of Black men in pop culture, as examples of the feminization, but that's just the most visible example. The other examples are more widespread and impact more than just the tiny % of the population that is gay (and flaming).

I mean I doubt society admires the bum ass nikka you talking about, he might have some people who genuinely care about him so they care of him regardless of him not being shyt but its not like his name holds weight in actual society

That's true, his name only holds weight with his circle and someone looking for a come-up by hanging around him socially. And eventually, all the people propping this dude up are gonna die off or hit their own hard times and then he won't have anything. It irks me cause this dudes been handed everything his whole life and refuses to get his own....besides making babies and shyt.
And society seems to have nooooo problem with this dude.

Meanwhile, I'm here busting my ass to be a model citizen and shyt....and fools look at me like I'm moving wrong...
:hhh::gucci::dwillhuh: :what:

I don't get it....but maybe I'm not supposed to.

DMV
I wish it was duck tales.
If it was I wouldn't have a single thing to complain about.
But it ain't.
And this is the fukked up "Society" I live in in the DMV area.
People here ain't about shyt unless someone has a gun pointed at their head.
I'm from The Bronx, we weren't raised to move like that and hard work is what gets you what you dream about.
What they teach these fools around here....it ain't right.
Really? I'm in the DMV and people here tend to hustle pretty hard. :ld:

I'm thinking like "yo....who is this!? She know this broke ass dude???"
Sure enough, she's with him!!
SO this nikka don't have two pennies to rub together...out here panhandling...but got a tight little honey on his arm.
:gucci::stopitslime::what:
So I'm thinking "This is what females go for? Still? Broke fools with no job and no intention of getting a job..."

I wound up saying I'd get him some change after I come out...then going out the back door to the store and avoiding them.
I ain't about to support a worthless bum....black or not.
