Anymore?
Like 15 years ago or some change, if you weren't working, were at home doing nothing but chilling or doing stunting, showing off and etc without working for your shyt, folks were looking at folks like. Folks would shame folks for real. Folks would question folks on why they spend all day on the computer or their phone texting. That life of luxury shyt wasn't respected if you didn't work for it.
Flip fast how many years later and you got grown ass men and women bragging about doing the total opposite. All this talk about being in charge but the moment folks gotta work and deal with life, they are ready to talk about baby boomers and how the system is rigged. Yet they aren't doing shyt or doing something that makes no sense.folks want something for nothing.
A few points
even if you worked at McDonald's or was cleaning toilets, folks respect that earn your keep shyt. What happened?
A few points
1.A dude out there doing what he has to do, doesn't care about credit, props or any of that stuff.
2. Fathers not being in the households the past few generations has altered views about personal accountability. Father is not going to coddle and baby you, and he's going to tell the mom to stop spoiling you. Without that masculine energy around, a lot of the things to be learned from that are never learned.
Dudes are unfamiliar with that discipline...so they gravitate towards that feminine energy that they are accustomed to.
3.People point the flamboyantly gay images of Black men in pop culture, as examples of the feminization, but that's just the most visible example. The other examples are more widespread and impact more than just the tiny % of the population that is gay (and flaming).
