It absolutely is. It's a formbof forced integration
Yep, as long as you find a way to communicate that's all that matters. Theres no wrong or right way to do it.my friend's bm takes their babies to a sitter that does not speak english. she knows a little bit of spanish be she just use google translate or some other app as needed and life goes on lol
No, they raise half illiterate children and require us to pay for translators to facilitate access to local services: police, fire dept, schools, medical.
I know because I grew up with their children. That's where you get that Cardi B accent from in NYC, primarily uptown and Bx. I grew up understanding Spanish, watching Sabados Gigantes, and eating plantanos at my lil friends house. One of my bestest play aunties still to this very day only speaks to me in Spanish.
Japan should not be used as an exampleThe assumption here is that you would learn the language before going to live there. Which is ridiculous. So you get a job offer in Finland designing boats, you're telling me you gonna learn conversational Finnish in however many weeks you got before the job starts?
Or you meet a bad bilingual Japanese jawn and wanna settle down over there.. who tf is learning enough Japanese outside of Japan to be conversational. No one even speaks Japanese like that. shyts not even realistic. Ask Meg the Stallion how much Japanese she knows she'll look at you like you're crazy.
Now learning the language once you're there. Thats understandable. But learning is different for everyone. As long as it seems like you're putting forth an effort that should be enough. The people that move somewhere and don't even try yeah I'm with you, thats nuts.
In my experience <------disclaimer...........not one........a single one person or establishment wanted to communicate with me using my slow ass elementary japanese.......they would cut me off post haste and wanted to practice their english more than anything........ thinking back on it I should have been offended.Japan should not be used as an example
There are parts of Japan that will not even serve you if you can’t speak or read the language
Certain places will have signs up telling you don’t jump stupid, you not coming in here
It’s a story about a restaurant right now not letting Chinese tourists eat there
If you go to places outside of Tokyo, you better know some shyt at the very bare minimum
That’s either in kanji or language because they will definitely hit you with
People really don’t get how some of these homogeneous countries get down until they are there
Only English speak countries get criticized for wanting people to speak the language(yes I know it’s not the national language)
Take your ass to Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and try to just speak English and watch for the hook
So you're telling me.. That someone should spend how ever many years learning Japanese (in whatever impractical way they can find as Japanese is not a popular language outside of Japan) before they even think about setting foot in japan to live.Japan should not be used as an example

This happens in pretty much every developed majority English-speaking country (US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc.).The problem you have in the UK is that people who don’t speak the language or understand the culture come to the UK, don’t attempt to learn English and segregate themselves from any part of the culture, try to form their own little community and then still want to claim benefits and housing when they need it.
How can you live in a country for 10 years and still not know how to speak a lick of English.. a lot of people that do this over here are the south Asians and Middle Easterns who want to live in a foreign country but separate themselves from the locals
Once again, signing an executive order does not mean an official law has been createdHe did that a couple of months ago where you been
