While you may not have had equal rights 50 years ago in 1967, you very well could've had a business that catered to black people. Our people spent too much time and energy integrating and not enough time separating our own interest.
You're just saying generic shyt that you think is deep at this point.

Thats not impressing me.

Except you don't know shyt about me and I'm not trying to be deep or impress you.

My grandfather used to run a bar. But he was too busy getting drunk to own a bar. My other grandfather was too busy pimping and then on the run for a murder to set up a business. My dad had two businesses and real estate but let his ego and side p*ssy destroy what should've been passed down to me and my siblings. The white man didn't stop any of them and he's not stopping me. I'm working on a 5 year plan to break the cycle that has plagued the men in my family.

I don't drink, no longer chase women and am about my business. Is racism a problem? Yes. Is it going anywhere? No. So I have three options. Change the system. Unlikely. Give up. Not an option. Or I can bust my ass and have something to hand off to my kids. The option I don't have is to complain about shyt. No one cares and it's not going to change anything.

A bar is better than no business at all. Somebody is gonna sell liquor and plenty nikkas are buying. You didn't say shyt about my father's two businesses and real estate. No one stopped him but him. Same for my grandfathers.

Every last one. All of our woes, past and present can be linked to racism/white supremacy.

Individually, a few of us can slip through the cracks, yes.. but collectively? No way in hell that'll happen without some serious cac conflict and indignation. And I dont think nikkas truly want that war.. yet.

However, contrary to popular defeatist beliefs, I do believe that we'll turn it around. I'll probably be old as fukk, or my unborn children will see it, but I believe we'll make some improvements in our community. It's still "early" in the rebuilding process, I mean my 85 year old grandmom remembers segregation and overt racism like it was yesterday. These were women without the easy access to knowledge that we have in our pockets. They were just taught to get a job and hope that we are just as lucky. We often talk shyt about them for not passing chit down to us, but look at the world they lived in. I don't blame them.. too much. We have to break the cycle. And we will.. slowly.

I agree with "bootstraps" to an extent. Yes, we know white supremacy exists, yes we know that we're treated like garbage when it comes to acquiring resources or getting involved in different industries. But nigs should be resourceful and determined af to the end regardless of what the cac attempts for themselves and their families. But.. good luck convincing millions of black people to cast away their white god.

My gripe with the argument is tho, is when nigs who "make it" (50k job) belittle the less fortunate nikkas about hard work like a white supremacist, knowing that the battle wasn't exactly seamless and bereft of luck.

If you make it and not make the road better for the next black man, then stfu cuz you're just fighting half the battle. White supremacy/racism shouldnt just be stiff-armed and juked, it should be destroyed so our children don't have to deal with this shyt at ALL.

We don't need to codefy nothing because truth is there is no such thing. No group is a monolith period no matter how folks want to say other groups are. You just gotta roll with folks that you feel are on the same thing as you. Trying to get everybody to follow you/think like you is another form of procrastination because that will never never happen.
I strongly disagree fam & maybe you’re misinterpreting what I mean about codefying our behavior? We can use (some of Neely Fuller jr’s) guide as PRINCIPLES when dealing with systematic white supremacy. True we’re all not gonna react or have the same POV but if we’re familiar with these principles & stay “on code” for the most part we’ll move accordingly. And it’s much easier to be unified when we’re tryjng to apply certain principles on the job & in our lives. I’m not saying it’s some holy grail we have to follow but if we’re applying certain principles in our daily life it’ll make us more unified & organized which will enable us to live better & make moves. But it all starts with our own individual selves.

I strongly disagree because no offense but you didn't post the code or what you think it should be. I'm not watching the video so you'd have to tell me what dude said. His code is probably common sense to most people anyway. The only "code" I need is the golden rule and buiding with like minded people. Them two right there can take you pretty far. No need for no list of rules imo when simple things like I listed will do just fine. I mean maybe certain things could be reinforced like having kids out of wedlock and chances for success lessen (if they do don't know for sure just anecdotal on my part) and things you may not think of but most things are explained in those two things for me personally.

It's cool if we disagree this just shows we all have different ways of getting to the same point. Peace

You should really check that video bro. Neely Fuller jr. is a great mind. And what I bolded from what you said is one of the principles he added to “the code” so you’re already on point with your thinking. I really suggest you check him out (if you’re already aren’t familiar) with his work. It definitely can’t hurt you bro

it all centers around the actions of individuals

they did what they did because they were allowed to

they do what they do because they are allowed to

believe your life is in the hands of another

believe your life is in your own hands

choose

or let someone else choose for you

either way you live with the results
