I disagree. I think our biggest problem is we don't value ourselves and that leads to exploitation. We're exploited in business and personal relationships.

We create a lot of what's considered trendy or popular and give it away, allow it to be stolen or steal it ourselves. Music comes to mind. How many genres fit what I just said? Same for sports. There's no reason black players haven't come together to be majority owners of at least one team except themselves. That should have BEEN an item in one of those collective bargaining talks.

If all black people looked in the mirror and saw a person worth fighting for, worth educating, worth love and worth having their own, it'd be difficult for cacs to exploit us and turn us into whatever statistic fits their narrative.

Half our problems could be solved, or at least lessened if having children out of wedlock wasn't so prevalent, and accepted. I don't think enough of us take bringing a life into the world seriously, and how much work it takes mentally, emotionally, and financially to raise a productive member of society.

I've heard so many people talk about things their parents did, and say, "I turned out fine." Umm, no you didn't. I'm at the age where I see girls I grew up with becoming grandmothers in their damn 30s. These are the same women talking shyt on facebook about "real fathers, and women holding it down" on Father's Day. Ok, but you chose him, and chances are, he wasn't living some productive responsible life before you got pregnant. And I'm not talking about the men who are active in their children's lives, but not married to the mothers. BUT speaking of them, having multiple children by more than one woman you were never married to is irresponsible period.

We need more two parent households, and traditional family units.

If we keep getting denied opportunities and loans in America find WAYS AROUND IT. For example why no set up a loan business in Africa and make loans to black people in America? That's what the Chinese do and it works. If the market is underserved you could make a ton of money and help black people at the same time. It's win-win.

We don't need to codefy nothing because truth is there is no such thing. No group is a monolith period no matter how folks want to say other groups are. While you may not have had equal rights 50 years ago in 1967, you very well could've had a business that catered to black people. Our people spent too much time and energy integrating and not enough time separating our own interest.
