I hate that this narrative is no longer allowed to be spoken as whites have white washed the topic of racism and made it some inconvenient phantom that no one person can seem to stop especially them..... But despite that black people need not complain, we need not be victims, we need to pull ourselves up, stop being destructive, stop listening to rap music, etc etc........

At some point I turned that bullshyt off years ago. I trust nothing these fukks say until they all man the fukk up and address the elephant in the fukking room which is overwhelmingly them......

If white people are stopping you from progressing what are you willing to do about it? Are you willing to make life uncomfortable for them? Are you willing to die for something?

If they are really the problem then the answer is to think about solutions. If not, then figure out a way that you, individualistically, can win.

If people feel that they doing the right thing despite the obstacles, there's a certain righteousness in their spirit. They feel they can't really be defeated or conquered. They are willing to make sacrifices. This is why the Haitian Revolution succeeded. This is why the civil rights movement succeeded.

In the working class, nah. I got some friends and family that are fu**ing up and it has nothing to do with racism.

They had parents that provided them with suburban upbringings, decent to good schools, and some were even willing to pay for college, and they still blew their chances.

There's gotta be some accountability when it comes to the folks that had the opportunities that kids growing up in poverty don't have.

As far as the bootstrap talk, we as a community are responsible for helping our own. I don't expect some poverty stricken kid in the Bronx to make it out on his own, but I do expect the the black lawyers/doctors/entertainers in Manhattan to dedicate time and resources so that kid can have an opportunity. Of course the government should help out as well, but we as people are obligated to help the less fortunate, especially knowing what we've been through.

It’s not about acknowledging the problem. I agree fully with how white supremacy and racism has led to the condition of black folks. But the problem arises for me sometimes is when this is talked about in terms that as a result our fates are totally predetermined and usually this means the problem is only talked about and not solutions. If that is the case and nothing is in our power then like you said what the fukk is the point in living? I refuse to think like that and effectively admit defeat. The war ain’t over and we’re simply disadvantaged in battles.

But that's what the problem is, everyone expects black to fix, we have to fix it, we must fix it, we must not succumb to it. That's fukking bullshyt. We all know what the solutions are as well, and they have already been implemented......
