I agree with this. At the same time, we know what the problem is and we can correct the damage.
I hate to say it, but to fix this, I think more insularity in the black community is needed to reinforce internal self-esteem building and minimize interactions that will tear it down from the outside. Black families need to minimize access to white media that reinforces negative beliefs and attitudes in black folks.
I started to watch that Bright movie with my girl yesterday and we turned that shyt off with the quickness for example. The dude has a white wife, all the black folks shown up to that point was negative, and Will's character was very c00nish. I mean imagine normalizing that shyt in the mind of a black kid. shyt is crazy.
So small things like that is a start and it something that has to be organized and consistent in the black community as a whole to start to fix this damage.
No. Yes, racism stacks odds against us but there are still a lot of blacks who know right and wrong and still choose to do wrong. Also, as others have mentioned, there are many blacks who have a low self esteem and a defeatist attitude, and use racism as an excuse to not try and better themselves. Yeah, the white man makes things unfair but he doesnt make anyone do anything, we still have choices.

No I don't think it ALL started with ourselves, but even way back we brought those cacs out of caves and educated them... for what?! Now they have the nerve to say if it wasn't for them we'd be living in mud hits?
When they were literally sleeping with dogs (still are) and running around in the snow looking for something dead to eat? If we valued ourselves we would've let them fall off. But we taught them EVERYTHING and they used it against us.
We gave away knowledge and power. We didn't value our position and guess what? They did. They do. And they ain't giving us anything but hell and ass whippings with smug grins knowing damn well they're Neanderthals that came up off of us.
Tell a nikka to go study what cacs know. If it's written by a black scholar, our own people dismiss it.
And currently... after the Civil Rights era, we still don't fukk with each other like that. We traded self sufficiency for integration. We wanted to be down with them instead of building our own system. That's due to lack of self worth.

Honeslty the only thing people can do is to improve generation by generation and build with like minded people. Anything else is whinning to me at this point. It's nothing we can discuss that isn't already known. It's a form of procrastination to me

Basically if everything is just racism and we ain't going to be shyt fukk we here living for? Might as well just off ourselves since racism isn't going to let us be successful. That's why I can't agree with something that basically says I have no control over how my life turns out.

And what pisses me off also is what was mentioned earlier, all nikkas wanna do is talk and complain about shyt, like theyll be on here posting articles of racist shyt to get outraged about. Okay, weve been outraged, this society been racist, what yall gonna do about it? Simply being mad about it wont change shyt. Then when someone does come with a plan and tries to take action, crab ass nikkas always try to shyt on em and sabotage em. Not to mention that there can never be a meeting of the minds without nikkas ego tripping and getting competitive, trying to "out black" each other rather than find solutions. Weve seen this go down often in many "pro black" circles. Everyones at each others neck worried about being top nikka rather than getting shyt done.

Everything you mentioned here happens on here esp the "out black" stuff. That and the dudes searching online for stuff to be outraged about I don't get. I can't spend my day looking for things to make me amped up. I just think online lends itself to the circle jerk we see on here at times. I know their hearts are mainly in a good place but they just go about it in ways I could never rock with.
