Kendrick is super dope. But its too many bells and whistles on songs. nikka just spit. I dont need sound effects, voice changes, weird singing randomly poppin in out of sings, a random poem from james baldwin in the refrain.

Song is special. In a classic kind of way. Video, beat, kendricks flow/content. Perfecttion all around.
hes a great artist and been consistent with the quality since he first came out so i think he deserves the credit he gets, i understand how some dont like the voices tho

I’m a keep it trill except for his singles the hood don’t F with Kendrick like that(he’s not an easy digestible play) but I can say the same thing about a lot of top rappers and mainstream rappers unfortunately as much as people don’t want to admit it (me myself) the streets F with drake.
