Just because you're African doesn't mean you can relate to the struggle "nikka" implies nor does it give you instant access to pimp the struggle (saying the n-word) for profit. Which is exactly what French is doing. The irony of all this is that some Africans (the Caucasoid ones) are no different from your typical White slavemasters because they contributed to the suffering/hatred but will never feel the burden of it.

I have actually, and they claim black. wtf else would they claim, white?
someone here hasnt read "The Green Book" which is like the bible in north africa.
went to a berber drum show with my ex who was iraqi, and they went on a whole segment about how they are NOT arab, a little bit of history on wars with arabs, how they are native africans and how they migrated to north africa from east africa. he did a little history lesson.
its a misconception, most folks have never even spoken to a berber to ask them, but everyone there stated they were light skinned africans, if they had to be put in a race (which doesnt exist) it would be 'black', because the black race belongs in africa. but again race is a touchy subject since scientists have already claimed our racial categories are outdated, for example indians are asian, one might say the yellow race is for asia, but indians arent yellow......they are brown. but in america brown means south america, whom are mestizos. what race would mestizo fall under? central asians? indians? aborigines? we have more than just the main 4 folks like to claim, the world is more than just red, yellow, black and white, but the U.S census is outdated and people still use it as concrete. so if you were to follow the outdated census, berbers would be black because they are native to africa. they are most certainly NOT white. some tribes have admixtures but so do african americans........

They claim to be africans (most of the time it's only the hardcore berbers nationalists) but they don't claim to be black.
Most of them consider themselves as an authentic african group but separated from black. For them, they are not black, they are they own people.
In general, people from north africa don't like to be put in the same category with black people. If you go to any north african country, they always make the difference between them (Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, etc) and "african countries". They will even ask you : "are you from AFRICA" ?
If you're an American. It's your constitutional right to express yourself freely. It is also a right for others to whoop your ass if they don't consent with what you're saying.

we are our own people, and we're not slaves or colonized anymore, we can define ourselves, and everyone native to africa is of the black stock.

I don't like it when it's done in a demeaning manner or even when they just upset. I got rid of one of my thotys yesterday and she started saying I was a sorry as nikka just cuz I didn't want to mess with her anymore. Now you know I had to put her in her place. Mexicans be dropping that word waaay too much for my liking. I don't care if they call each other that, but but we don like it when you call us that.
