Is it wrong that I want a 2003 BMW 330ci rather than a new one?

Wherever whores go.....
If you are bringing in way more than you spend, then financing shouldn't even be an issue. Why would anyone finance something if they can afford it?

Because lets say you have 50K to spend on a car
What do you do
Pay for the car cash

Or take out a new car loan which tend to be very low like 2% and invest the 50K

People do it all the time so they can use that money you didn't use to pay for it outright to make more money than just giving it away esp if you have your credit right. Obviously its not everybody but people act the way y'all speak is the only way and its definitely not.

Edit:@hookersandicecream broke it down exactly how I'm talking about but I didn't see it before posting again.

OK, this may work for people who already had tens of thousands saved and who make a successful investment. But most people do not do this. Most people just finance according to whatever payment they can afford, even if it costs them way more than the car is worth. Most people with really expensive cars are fronting and are not as rich as their car makes them seem, which I guess is part of the appeal of an expensive car. I love cars so I understand the appeal of nice cars, but I also love not being broke. A lot of people who make a lot of money still basically live paycheck to paycheck because their spending level matches or exceeds their income.

Also, if their are other "faux Sue Ormans" who post here, can you give me their names? I would like to talk to people who are about saving and investing instead of spending money on stuff that doesn't make sense.

If you looking for "faux Suze Ormans" just check any thread about expensive things like the Bentley thread. You'll find them and people with faux concern so they can act like they are so much financially better or some shyt. I guess if people ain't harming me I don't give a shyt if they stunting or not and neither do most people. Its just a way to hate IMO because its not like any of us are about to give these stunters any funding if they shyt hit the fan. That's why I let them do them and I'm pretty sure you do too just hate the parrot advice at times.

Cool, I'm not here to make myself look better than anyone. I would much rather learn than argue with somebody. My comment at the OP was intended to help because financing a car that old is a bad idea, but it's not an issue because he said he would be paying cash.

I'm just saying that if that's what you want then go ahead and get it. I mean, it doesn't matter what you pay for it because in the end you are getting exactly what you want. The exact motorcycle I want is going to be between 4-6 years old. I just don't like the new styling and I would rather have the one that was made between 2008 and 2010. So OP get what you want and enjoy it.

I agree with this on anything I get. If I like it ill get it no matter how others look at it if I want it as bad as he seems to like this bmw. I'm that way about the 95 impala (car wise) and that shyt old as dirt but I love it don't care what nobody say.

I liked them a lot when I was kid and in high school. There were a lot of faster, better made cars in the same era though. The only E46's that are worth buying would be an M3 since there aren't Alpina's in the states.

I still think the 2004 E46 330ci is one of the best looking 3-Series' they ever released. Especially with the Sport Package.

and the E39 530i (2003) Sedan is my favorite 5-Series Model.
My brother had one just like that. Crashed it doing 140mph :wow: :snoop:

That's what I think too, thanks. I just always hear people say shyt like "That nikka got used lexus" "Ol 2001 mercedes, thinking he flossing"

Thing is, it's not for flossing or just to say I have a beemer. Its because I genuinely love the design of the machine, it's one of the most beautiful non-super cars to grace the road. I simply hate the new models, the M3 looks good, but that is way out of my price range, and if it weren't I'd prefer to step into the super car bracket and get a used Corvette or something. Still not as fun as the E46 tho. I would buy a new body kit every year or 2, maybe change the paint with various plasti dip colors, add the supercharge kit (:noah:) you know fukk around with the car, have some fun with it. The E46 has more options accessory wise than any other BMW. :wow:
