Last year was pretty big with 20 years. There were some good documentaries. I watched one with some people aged 25-35 and there were a few parts that everyone was shedding a little tear.

But it’s generational. I was 5 when OKC happened and besides the domestic terror aspect being interesting the actual tragedy doesn’t really hit me

Katrina deserves the same recognition but multiple 757's flew into some of the most iconic skyscrapers in the most populated city on live TV, orchestrated by a literal supervillian I can understand why it's hard for some people to compartmentalize that.

People really stopped caring about 9/11 in like the early 2010s. I was also 17 when it happened and I really remember how life was before it, especially when it came to traveling. Still remember when you could get to the gate with 15 minutes before departure and still be able to board.
