Is it wrong to say people don't care about 9/11 anymore?

Last year was pretty big with 20 years. There were some good documentaries. I watched one with some people aged 25-35 and there were a few parts that everyone was shedding a little tear.

But it’s generational. I was 5 when OKC happened and besides the domestic terror aspect being interesting the actual tragedy doesn’t really hit me :manny:

Hurricane Katrina killed over 1,800 people. No commemoration for that.

And more people will killed in the name of avenging 9/11 than people who actually died so :mannny:

Katrina deserves the same recognition but multiple 757's flew into some of the most iconic skyscrapers in the most populated city on live TV, orchestrated by a literal supervillian I can understand why it's hard for some people to compartmentalize that.
