I love to mountain bike. I bike for my mind, body, and soul. I go to different ski areas to bike (sometimes overnight).
I started dating this woman years ago. Took her to an overnight biking trip to Jim Thorpe, PA. We biked for the day. She went back to the room to sleep. I walked the streets of JT soaking in the culture and history.
Years later, same woman and I are serious. Living together…our kids living under the same roof…type.
I was going through some shyt. One weekend, I strapped my bike to my truck and broke out to upstate NY. Had nothing to do with her, but I needed to bike.
Her kids and parents were all in her ear about that was disrespectful to her. That was an intense break up.
But, I’d still do the same.

Cuz it was never like this in the beginning. Our honeymoon phase lasted a good 2 years. She took me to an all expenses paid trip to one of my favorite places. Plus we got family and friends involved, a whole life together... It ain't as easy as it seems

Same broad planned this extravagant dinner at a fancy steak house for an anniversary. We sit down and order our food. I get a call from my daughter, who’s at my ex wife’s house with an emergency. My daughter wants me to pick her up and stay at my house for the night. I told that broad get doggie bags and I’d meet her at home. I broke out to go get my daughter.
