This is one thing about going on carribean vacations. You chilling on the beach and random locals coming up to you selling everything or straight up asking for money. Someone gotta sit with the clothes while everyone else in the water.

How is a country independent, but has a king from Britain?

When I used to be heavy into the conspiracy theory videos and articles.
I saw something once about all banks have a head bank, which has a head bank.
As in all the banks in these different places are not independent.
And are controlled by Bank of England, which leads to other places etc

If that is true, you have your answer to most things. imf etc

That was allowed. In Barbados beach access must be provided by the land owners. Failure to do so and your shyt is getting torn down.

Somebody lined someone's hands to look the other way in Jamaica. A citizen's access to their beach should be sacroscant
Same in Antigua, even beaches that sit behind hotels, they have to give free access to anyone wishes to use them.

I guess Independence has different definitions. Independence to The United States, means something totally different. We ain’t got no English king

The real boss

Americans are sometimes misled by the fact that government in Canada is conducted in the name of the king. By the letter of the BNA Act, the king rules Canada through the governor general, whom he appoints. In turn, the governor general supposedly rules the provinces through lieutenant governors, whom he appoints. But in reality the Dominion government chooses the governor general and the lieutenant governors—who, like the king himself, are only figureheads.

The real head of the federal government, legislative as well as executive, is the prime minister, in whom all power is concentrated and all responsibility focused. He does not run for election to this high position, nor does he hold it for any fixed period. Moreover there is no law defining it.
