ehh, he was European Champion in WWE, not really doing anything, just feuding with Ken Shamrock off and on.

He probably got paid well in WCW

He was still a player of significance who got moved up the card for a little run all the time. Plus all the top guys in WWE liked working him. And he would have been a part of the show when it turned around. Maybe if he sticks around he and Owen can get a nice little tag stretch as well.

Meanwhile, the highlight of his WCW time was a PPV with Mongo.

As far as being paid well, Storm got more $ from his new TNA offer than WWE was willing to commit so what's your point?

No he wasn't. Have you ever even watched this era? He is in the Hart foundation with Owen just standing in the background.

He never had world title shots again, and never would have. He was entertaining in his role, for example the Arm Wrestling match with Shamrock was fun.

WCW money and TNA money are not even close, Bulldog probably made 5x more then Storm did and worked less dates, if that is even possible.

Huh? He and Owen held the tag straps until 6 months before he left and they still worked with Taker, Shawn and Austin in various forms of tag matches with Bret on top through the summer of 97. shyt, Bulldog's second to last PPV he was in the semi main event. Not saying he was on the top of the card all the time but he was there a tag partner very often.

Again, he wasn't even ON WCW PPVs most of the time. So even if you are suggesting he was just a mid-carder, he wasn't even close to that with WCW.

If Storm money is guaranteed in case of a TNA bankruptcy, it was a great move. You're in wrestling to make money, and NXT was offering him money like he's an Indy nobody

Sting rejoining TNA when he was practically guaranteed Mania match against Undertaker while he was still in great shape

Was that the year when they showed the weird videos and it ended up just being for the undertaker's return? If so, we could have been spared from the bootleg main event mafia return.
