That's a conflict of interest

They got her in the Figure 4...lemme guess, she signed to a 360, too?
Earlier today Complex Magazine reported that Rihanna has "left" her longtime label, Def Jam, joining the in-house imprint at Shawn "Jay Z" Carter's management company Roc Nation. The 26-year-old singer's next album, the follow-up to 2012's "Unapologetic,” will still be distributed by Def Jam, with an announcement on official plans expected "soon," according to sources.

While Rihanna will be a frontline artist going forward with Roc Nation's label, which is distributed by the Universal Music Group, Def Jam will still be involved with the project. In fact, the label just met with the singer last week to discuss her next moves, sources confirm to Billboard.

she's signed to one nikka, that's signed to another nikka, that's signed to three nikkas, now that's bad luck

that fukking line can be felt by 95% of the artists in the game right now

they wave that big fukking check at you and you think.... oooooooooooooooo money

i promise you they don't even read the contract... nor sit down for 7-10 days going over it with lawyers to fine comb through it and explain all the details... how else can you have a meeting with nikkas and sign the same day... a contract that's going to own you for the next 5-6 albums and you not even taking a day to read/think it over

they don't even care... till it's too late... then you end up like rita ora... thinking you just gonna leave... not realizing you signed away your right to do that shyt too... now you gotta pay to leave... but you ain't got any money... so where do you get it.... the next label who will buy you out.... for a price :mjcry:

Yo, you cats are too grown to not do your own research fam. Lies travel faster than the truth. Rihanna is not on Def Jam at all anymore. She completed that deal. She has the rights to her masters (somehow, probably some shyt Hov did when he was at Def Jam for her) and she has her own label. Her music comes out under that label and are distributed through Roc Nation. The strange thing is that Roc Nation has distribution deals itself so I'm not sure how it all works out. But Rihanna does not have a 360 deal and has a better deal than anyone on that label not named Hov. Jay Z is not forcing her to do anything. She is a Tidal owner herself, why would she not support her product?

Kanye is managed by Roc Nation too and shows Tidal no love.
