HELL NO!
Exclusives allow an artist to build a true fan base. If they just throw music out there, and hope it sells, you are not really concentrating your core fans. That is what people don't understand, we are living in the best times for an artist who is willing to make moves based on business, and the art. You can actually get real personal with fans, and have a more consistent source of income. Never in music had this been able to happen. I would rather get more money from a smaller fan base, but have consistent income, then selling millions, and a few years down the line, I'm not hot anymore, and my label drops me.
I wouldn't do an exclusive with any other streaming service, though. Tidal has a different type of consumer then the others streaming services. If someone is willing to pay the price, that means they will spend more money on merchandise, and shows. The other services has consumers who want a lot for cheap. Sort of like fast food eaters,
What artist need to do is give exclusive ALBUMS to Tidal, and other songs to the other services.
