Is Josh Allen the most overrated QB in the league?

They got to find some quarterbacks to prop up. Mahomes is the guy and Lamar is right there. They need another young white hype down Allen is being propped up. The Qi position is being changed over from the older guys to the young so they’re just looking for the next crop. I’m just going to wait and see what happens this season

If people are trying to place him in the first tier of QBs (Mahomes, Rodgers, Russ, Brady) than yes, but I think most have him in that second tier which is where he belongs.
They are placing him in that first tier though, hence why he's overrated. I forgot who it was, but a player from a team they play this week said he has no weaknesses.

Last Season Josh Allen passed for 4500 yards and rushed for another 400. 37 TDs and only 10 INTs on almost 70% completion. Those are elite numbers. I don't care who that is. Even though the Bills lost last week they are still far and away the best team in the division right now top to bottom.

Now granted the NFL is a fast moving machine and that may not be the case this year but Allen has improved every single year he's been in the league.

This dude had one good season, and they’re already crowning him top five and saying he has “no weaknesses.” Meanwhile Lamar Jackson has had a winning record every year he’s started, won MVP, but he’s constantly scrutinized.

What a linear, analog thread :hhh:
When Lamar Jackson learns to be a surgeon and throw the football across the entire field and not just throw in the seams to the TE then he won’t be scrutinized..

I actually think Lamar is crazy overrated.

Lamar has lots of flaws for an elite QB…major ones and it was apparent all season. The fact that people put him on Mahomes, Watson or Russ level is ridiculous. Plus before last year he was ass in the playoffs and got bounced immediately every year.

Each one of those guys has had the privilege of being surrounded with better talent than Lamar.

Mahomes has Cheetah and Kelce. Both were Pro Bowlers with Alex Smith at QB
Russ has DK and Lockett.
Watson had Nuke whose hasn't skipped a beat since he left Houston
Allen has Diggs and Beasley. Diggs was a beast in MIN (still underrated smh) and Beasley was a solid WR in Dallas
shyt even Baker has Landry and OBJ who were elite before Cleveland, along with Chubb and Hunt in the backfield

The first 3 are 3 of the best QB in the league, but they've had more to work with than Lamar has. Lamar's best target is Mark Andrews, who's great in his own right, but not those guys.

I'm not even gonna get into coaching with Greg Roman calling the plays :mjlol:

Hard to say he's the most overrated because when the Ravens lose he gets most of the criticism despite having less around him than his contemporaries. That said, there's some things that Lamar can improve on, but I don't think he's overrated.

Now, Baker on the other hand...

No it's Baker Mayfield and it's not even close I mean he went number 1. I had a white co worker at the time tell me straight up if Lamar Jackson was white it wouldn't of been a question he would've went number 1 and we all know that.

Allen has improved every season and he's a dual threat he earned his stripes.

What the fukk has Mayfield done that I have to see him in every fukking commercial besides being :mjpls:

100%. The gameplan to play the Browns should be to key on the run game and let Baker beat you, he won't more times than he will. Too bad, the Browns have a SB roster aside from the QB

Oh trust bruh that will be the gameplan going forward. They gonna waste that defense. I just wonder how many years they going to give him.
