I honestly thought this after 808 and heartbreaks
Dude wasn't risking anything. If he was worried about the risk of people not liking his music he would've put a little more effort into the WRITING department. My criticism has nothing to do with the production.

The annoying part is I'm a HUGE kanye fan... There's also been plenty of hip-hop (especially lately) to use techno and other musical elements in the production.. shyt isn't new.Breh, there's honestly no point.
Stans especially Kanye one's are robotic. They can't listen or digest any form of outsider opinion. 'Kanye is a unique genius' and nothing else
I and every unbiased person can clearly see you are saying you don't like the LYRICAL content but they will ignore that and keep saying the same shyt about how these album is pushing envelopes and ignore you're point.
It's the most robotic thing ever![]()
Being a leader sucks because you have to wait for everyone to catch up with you.

Rick Rubin said the vocals took a few hours (yeah we can tell)
Same, I'm a HUGE Kanye fan too and yes there is nothong wrong with experimenting as long as the executions right.
This project just wasn't executed well.
I just wanna know what the fukk Kanye was going in ParisRick Rubin said the vocals took a few hours (yeah we can tell)
so what was he ACTUALLY doing in Paris![]()
Can you recall a scene from the sessions that might help people understand his method in the studio?
We were working on a Sunday [the same day West attended a baby shower for girlfriend Kim Kardashian] and the album was to be turned in two days later. Kanye was planning to go to Milan that night. Five songs still needed vocals and two or three of them still needed lyrics. He said, Dont worry, I will score 40 points for you in the fourth quarter. In the two hours before had to run out to catch the plane, he did exactly that: finished all lyrics and performed them with gusto. A remarkable feat. He had total confidence in his ability to get the job done when push came to shove.
People have done albums like Rebirth before, and Rebirth sucked because Wayne-post C3 is terrible.
People have done albums like Yeezus before also.. You can't give Ye props for taking risks and shyt on Waynes effort with Rebirth without coming off as a hypocrite...
If anything Wayne had much more to lose...
Of course I can. Yeezy put more time and work into Yeezus. Every sound or silence is in a precise spot for good reason. Wayne hasn't given a fukk about making music since Carter 3. He's been half-assing rhymes since then.
man...these beats have no fukking soul and Ye' sounds lazy on every song. lyrically he's mediocre and all the features are out of place. nikka even tried to do some dancehall shyt and it just made me mad as fukk. this album is annoying to listen to. i'm actually glad it leaked...CUZ IF nikkaS WOULDA PAID FOR IT AND GOT HOME TO LISTEN TO THIS SH*T...IT WOULD'VE BEEN OVER FOR YE'
