:why: Never seen so many excuses for a wack album. Wayne got shytted on for rebirth even though he was doin somethin "different"..this shyt is ass and in the same boat, he gets no pass for this.

Wayne got shytted on for being influenced by a genre that is viewed as a joke (Nu-metal) Of course that shyt got shytted on, and If Ye decided to make a nu-metal, he'd probably get shytted on by both critics and the general listening audience.

Critics and cac's love industrial/noise/electro-goth shyt, so of course Ye is gonna get praise from it in those circles.

What if Kanye knew all along that he will never make a great album since he made Late Registration, so he thought fukk it, I'll just troll everyone by selling out and make shyt albums, but he is shocked that the troll albums he made actually all won grammy's? And that the real trolls are the critics and KTT-brown nosing like they alf to him-members, just acting like they like his work?

:ohhh:

Dude wasn't risking anything. If he was worried about the risk of people not liking his music he would've put a little more effort into the WRITING department. My criticism has nothing to do with the production.

This isn't a hip hop album though thats the thing. Lyricism doesn't really matter as long he brings the energy to match the production.

Punk Rock singers made a whole career out of jus bringing raw energy to the music.

City of Angels :blessed:
I can't with the lyricism shyt. nikkas acting like Kanye was on a Nas or Rakim level of lyricism. Dude told some good stories in songs but his thing has always been good one-liners. Yeezus is FULL of them.

The production is something new. Please tell me what hip hop artist has albums with songs that sound like Onsite or Send It Up. That shyt sounds more like Nine Inch Nails than anything.

Its funny too..cause back when Ye was dropping tracks like Stronger, nikkas was shytting on that saying its pop and he sold out and this and that, now dudes are wishing he would go back to that era...:why:

typical...tah

Well... its true.

Im not saying that everyone who doesn't like Yeezus just "doesn't get it", but if you really think its THAT bad, you definitely dont get it.

Its not for everyone but if you know what he's going for Yeezus is, at worst, a rushed album.
