:comeon:

You wrote all this and yet you somehow missed that feminists Stan for Amber Rose. Even people that don't like the somewhat homophobic undertones of what she said are still giving her the :manny: because of the way Kanye slutshamed her/brought up her sex work ("you got trapped by a stripper") and brought her kid up. You should know that your *generation* doesn't get down with the slutshaming AT ALL. She's winning in the mainstream public opinion by FAR.

And besides what she said was just funny as fukk :lolbron:

I know were got a sensitive trigger for calling out slutshaming but from what I've seen Kanye is getting more controversy for being a hypocrite.

:russ:

Her feminist stans are completely in the minority. No matter what young people claim vocally, most don't want to give a stripper a pulpit. Least of all Amber Rose.
:mjlol:

And They damn sure ain't going to side with her over Kanye. I know it makes no fukking sense but it would be a different story if she was a young white pornstar.

:mjpls:

I agree that tweet sent Shockwaves. Kanye prolly felt it in his prostate.

You are being very intolerant right now my dude. Your dismissive tone is the same one that has been used to deny claims of racism, sexism, and homophobia for generations.

We're living in an age of progressive internet activism, you can't silence those who oppose you. All will be heard (except Conservatives).

We're calling out the injustices of all people (except of course women) and we're calling all organized religion (except islam). No one is safe. Black LIVES MATTER

Eat a dikk you cis-gendered, homophobic, racist, heteronormative, oppresive fukk nikka.

Here's the hard truth for you old heads. You're looking at the wrong issue. The problem is not that rappers are soft nowadays. The real issue you have to confront is that Rap is not the same genre it was in the 80/90s.

Bigger still, America is not the same nation it was during the Golden age.

I'm in my mid 20s.

My generation is doing away with the classic concept of masculinity.

:francis:

If you go look on reddit and other mainstream sites. They're siding with kanye and turning on Wiz/Amber.

:francis:

Amber is especially receiving backlash for promoting homophobia and shaming Kanye for his sexual kinks.

In a climate like that i don't see Feminine/softcore rappers going anywhere.

:francis:

Gen Z is in the midst of a social revolution. For better or worse, my generation is doing away with gender roles, the concepts of masculinity/femininity, and other forms of rigid sexual identification. Instead we are promoting sexual fluidity, "social libertarianism", "free love", moral relativsm, and generally speaking, a society where it is taboo to judge anyone for anything (unless of course it goes against any of the values I named above).

If you feel disconnected now, wait till you see the media campaign for the first major openly gay rapper.

:francis:

No disrespect but you sound like a fakkit, LMAO.

I guess some are just going to redefine what it means for a song to be a hit so it aligns with their argument and agenda.:shaq2:
