Is Karen Hunter right about why Trump appeals to 15% of black men?

Exactly. It's like every black talking point is basically some racist shyt that involves white people letting a little of their foot off our necks. What about the college educated, black male such as me that has never been arrested or been in trouble with the LAW?? No disrespect to my brehs who haven't been as fortunate as me but what the fukk about criminal justice should inspire me to vote? They only response is "Well one day some unfair racist shyt that isn't supposed to happen will happen to you too."
I don't agree with minimizing the issue just because it has no relevance to oneself. I do agree that some major issues are a humanity issue (criminal justice, prison reform).

Even if true 15% of the black male vote is EXTREMELY LOW for any demographic.

Hell even 33% is still low. This chick is using tired old blame black men tactics for Trump.

Blame a small percentage who voted for Trump but don't mention that black men overwhelmingly voted for HRC in 2016!!!

How long can one run on criminal justice reform?

Maybe black people are uninspired because criminal justice doesn't lift someone out of poverty..

This is so overblown. Such a small percentage of Black men vote for Trump that to act like there's this big sociological reason why is silly. This is complete speculation. Let's stop and think for a second. How many Black male Trump voters does she even know? How many does she interact with? These guys are so rare that the only one's I'm actually aware of are the ones who vote for the republicans all the time. But she's not talking about those guys. She's talking about the Black Male's who voted for Obama in 2012 and then voted for Trump in 2016. Unless you actually interview these guys and ask them to explain there decision, everything else is just speculation. So no, I don't agree with her. Her conclusions are completely unfounded and lacking any supporting evidence.

I wasn't trying to minimize it but literally every black talking point (besides reparations) is catered to poor black people. Middle class guys such as myself are caught in the middle cuz I am not a fan of the racism in the Republican party but I am also not a fan of this blatant pandering and liberalism the Democrats are trying to push either (cuz black folks are excluded)

that white ppl put nothing before race unlike you black feminists

We've had that discussion ad nauseam on here and I've led it. There's no parity between Black and white relationship dynamics which is why you and many others aren't able to contemplate why Black women, for example, know better than placing race ahead of gender issues because they understand that "race first" means "Black men first"

placing gender before race means white women first. What you're saying isn't true but even if it was placing the interests of their fathers, sons and lovers before their own>>>>placing the interests of cac women who will keep all the benefits in the white family before their own.
