Is Kobe Missing The Most FG In History A Positive?

Do you agree that KOBE missing the Most FG shows he has a strong mentality?

Well we can’t be disingenuous and ignore him completely forcing shots his last few years in the league as a shell of himself.

He’s prolly the only HOF to my knowledge not to be forced to a lesser role on his way out and still maintained his respect as an og. Love him or hate him Seems like only Kobe could pull that off
Cause only Kobe didn't care how horrible he played or how much it hurt his team, he just wanted his shots. :mjlol:

Lakers didn't care cause NONE of those guys who played with Kobe are even around anymore. :francis:

Have pride that your star looked awful jacking up bs while his team tanked. :hhh:

Also just for starters, Dirk, Duncan, Stockton, Malone, Larry Bird, Parish, MJ, and Kareem all played to 37 while maintaining just as big a role as Kobe. And none of them were hurting their own team at 36-37 either.

"mentality" is not a merit in sports. you either put your team in a position to win by playing productively or you put them in a position to lose by playing badly. your "mentality" doesnt matter.

that being said i think the number of shots kobe missed is not that big a deal. he played straight out of high school into his late 30s including many deep playoff runs. the amount of missed shots he has is just evidence of the amount of time he played. kobe is easily one of the two best players of my time.

you're stupid. you do know if LeBron plays 5 more season and missed 723 shots per season what he missed last season shooting 54%, he'll shatter the "record".
...while shooting a very good percentage.

Doofus.

it's not a matter of total misses...it's the ratio of misses to makes

Being atop the all-time missed shots list is largely a result of longevity.
However, there's a difference in efficiency.

Karl Malone made nearly 52% of all his attempts.
Guys like Kobe and Havlicek did not.

Under no circumstances is missing a lot of shots in any way, shape, or form a positive thing.
Kobe stans once again proving they are the low lives of the coli.

This is the world that we live in. A world where people walk around unashamedly living in their own state of delusion. A world where people make excuses to disregard the facts in favor of what their heart wants to believe.

Reading this you'd this this guy was a former NBA player himself and not a moderator on an internet discussion forum/troll poster with 34k posts.
He's been leaning on that shyt a lot lately. Like nikka you ain't a pro either, fall back

@10bandz would suck kobe's dikk on facebook live :scust:

How? Because I can acknowledge the obvious? He played longer and was the #1 option so he had more missed shots, simple as that. It has nothing to do with any other factors stated in the thread. There's guys below Kobe on the list that averaged more missed shots per season than he did, they just played less years. Bron and MJ shoot high percentages, but if they played 20 years they'd be #1 on the list. The stat doesn't indicate much else besides longevity and being the #1 option for most if not all of those years.

BTW, tell me more about how Jerry Stackhouse is a bum or whatever you were trying to imply earlier :ohhh:

I don’t see why it’s a big deal if he played 20 seasons and was a top 5 scorer in about 15 of them.

It's not a big deal. This thread was pointless and was created by an undercover Bron fan. It's a #longsummer for these Bron stans so they need to do MJ and Kobe slander daily to make themselves feel better. Tomorrow they'll tell us how MJ only played against substitute teachers and how Bron is *way* better than him and its not even close. If Bron intends on trying to beat Kareem's record he'll easily beat Kobe's missed FG record even if he shoots 50% the rest of the way.
