In what universe :dahell:
Well Klay did something that no one else had ever done. 37 points in a quarter on 13-13 shooting was :mindblown:

The problem with events like the Kobe 81, Klay 37, or McGrady 13 is just because they were the player that did it doesn't mean they are the only player that could do it. But for people that want to use that, you HAVE to have Klay in that conversation.

I was with you until the 40ppg months. Mj averaged 37 ppg for a whole season. He had to have months in that season where he averaged 40ppg. Also another problem with MJ is his teams for the most part were too good and he was too efficient to be having multiple 60+ games. Once he was at 40 the game was likely over by a longshot. There's no way we're to believe a person who averaged 37 on 48% shooting couldn't have gotten 60+ if that were really his goal.
Kobe was on good teams most of his career. It is why he only average 25 ppl and only has 2 scoring titles. My averaged 37 precisely because his teams weren't good enough. Kobe is the most explosive scorer ever.

Jordan is the better all around player. Kobe was the more dangerous scorer. When Kobe used to get hot, all those retarded shots start going in and it's :merchant: out there

Funny how those scoring bursts never happened when the stakes were at their highest: Playoffs and Finals.
ONE 50-pt game in the playoffs and ONE 40-pt game in the finals... over 20 seasons:jbhmm:
He had a bunch of high 40 point playoff games. He averaged about 30 for the last 3 runs to the finals.

2 scoring titles < 10 scoring titles and Mike was able to lead the league during all 6 championship seasons, averaging over 30 during the first 4 and just a fraction of a point per game less than 30 in 1996-1997.

Another narrow, impossible to measure categorization used by kobestans to justify their disturbing cult. You people are worse than Donald Trump Surrogates.

Here are simple facts. Despite playing more seasons than Jordan or Kevin Durant, Kobe has fewer scoring titles than either. Despite scoring 81 points in a regular season game, Kobe only has 1 50 point game in the playoffs (an overtime game against a team that played poor defense) Despite taking 47 shots in a game, kobe missed 30 of them, setting an all time record for shots missed.

The only reason you idiots talk about the "on fire" games is that Kobe regularly shot like an idiot despite being cold. He was a middle class man's iverson, not a poor man's jordan.
