I'm very skeptical of his production. We've seen this story time & time again. A marginal player balls out in his contract year, only to revert back to being average the following year & forgotten about.
He's not a marginal player. People forget about him balling out in Houston. Not at this level, but he was nice. Playing with Rudy and Demar just gave him no chance in Toronto. He's injury prone though.

how could somebody ball out then get paid and decide to mail it in?? Makes no sense to me
