20/20 Vision With my Buffs On
Should have a Heisman too
i say that all the time fukk Jason White
And Larry was a beast he’s not underrated
Should have a Heisman too
The thing is while he seemingly had no weaknesses, a)he isn't the only guy of his eras that can be said about, b)there are guys who had a weakness or flaw who were clearly better, and c)Fitz was rarely every a high level difference maker...
His '08 playoff run is a GOAT-level WR playoffs, no doubt about it. Besides that, you look at his career year over year, sure he played with mostly bum quarterbacks, but he ain't the only guy that can be said of...
And he consistently was putting up numbers on teams that couldn't even contend for the playoffs. His career catch percentage isn't tremendously high which means a combination of thing, one being he wasn't contesting balls he couldn't make clean catches on since he doesn't have a lot of drops...
nah bruh if you did a splash reel he would have a mean one dude made plays most didn’t know because the cardinals were ass and all the way on the west coast
He would have a mean one but even if you look at his peers in the 00s, he doesn't stand out (Harrison, Moss, TO, Ocho, Smith, etc)..
He was only 27 when the 10s started so he's even more of a 10s receiver than a 00s one, when you look at his numbers with his 10s peers when the ball started being thrown all over the yard, he still doesn't stand out...
He's an All-Timer but the OP asking if he's underrated, my point is how? All muhfukkas do is rave about his game and consistency and how he's the consummate pro...
He's rated correctly, but closer to overrated than underrated....
Fitz was never blazing fast or super athletic. What he had was exceptional ball skills. For the first 6-7 yrs of his career, you could just throw it up, and expect him to go snag it out the air.
Around 2012, he started slowing down.By the time Bruce Arian's got there, he became more of a safety valve.Hardly played on the outside anymore. No more of those deep shots down the
field with with Fitz going up & winning jump balls. It's mostly dump offs & screen passes.Low key, he's been somewhat of a possession WR/glorified hybrid TE the last 4-5 seasons.Presently,
he's all craft & wiles.Been lost a step.As I said, he was never a dynamic athlete to begin with.He specializes in finding lil soft spots in the defense and getting you 5-10 yard receptions now.Back
in his prime(I'd say '06-'12), he had average speed, but his body control, timing, hands, and ball skills were freak level.I remember reading an article about how he had 20/10 vision back then.I'd
belive it because his hand/eye coordination was on another level. He could track the ball like nobody else.End of the day, I think he's rated exactly where he's supposed to be.People love him as
a person off the field, so they'll give him a lil extra bump from time to time.
You understand that the quarterbacks Fitzgerald has had made it difficult for him to average 100 yards a game, right?Fitz was never blazing fast or super athletic. What he had was exceptional ball skills. For the first 6-7 yrs of his career, you could just throw it up, and expect him to go snag it out the air.

Larry hasn't been a saint off the field media chooses to ignore shyt he does off field .

He didn't have Drew Brees slinging him the football.
Even Calvin Johnson had bum ass Stafford throwing to him...and compared to what Fitz had...Stafford might as well be a HOFer, lol
